More information:

The goal of The Organ Trail is to create as much awareness as possible of the urgent and dire need for donors (specifically living kidney and liver donors) and to demonstrate that one can donate a kidney and/or a part of their liver and still live a normal life, even if that life encompasses vigorous activities.

TOT 6.0 will start in Los Angeles, and then proceed to Phoenix, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, and Denver. The distance covered will be 1,900 miles over the course of approximately 32 days.

Mark’s goal will be to have events with transplant centers in these major cities, Fresenius dialysis centers along the entire route, and to also interact daily with people along the trail.

Mark is looking for a rotating support team of two volunteers (a driver and a social media liaison) for each leg of the journey. Volunteers do not necessarily have to be involved in the transplant community. He is also looking for a Social Media Expert who can volunteer remotely before the event to train the Social Media Liaisons and be a resource throughout the entire event. The expectations for each volunteer position are outlined below.
