Day 19, TOT 6.5

DAY 19 – Saturday, May 16
📍 Warsaw → Delabar State Park
🚴‍♂️ Miles: 73

Nature. Miles. Meaning.

From Mark:

“Yesterday was a bit of a rocky road ahead.
It’s times like these that reminds me of why we do these rides, to help those that need our help. To try to instill in them the hope to carry on through the tough times.

That there are people like Jim Colby, Bill Kelly, GeeGee and Dean Jannene, Jennie Hinz, Christina Austin, Mark Bruner, Lynn, and all the folks the help with our events, the people that support the effort riding with me….we all tell the story that needs to be told for the 95,000 on the kidney wait list. And maybe most importantly, all of you following along, that you’ll share some of this to ‘your story’ so many, many, more will come to learn about the urgent and dire need and the real ability that many of them, too, can save a life.”

Had a lunch stop in Quincy, IL, a river town packed with history along the Mississippi.

✨ Fun fact: Delabar State Park is known for its hiking trails and panoramic views of the Mississippi Valley.”
