Day 2, TOT 6.5

DAY 2 – April 30

📍 Deer Trail → Seibert
🚴‍♂️ Miles: 87

Anyone that knows me knows…
it has to be a pretty cold day before I wear sock with my biking sandals.

Well… today in Colorado qualified 😅

Pouring rain. Thunder. Lightning.
So instead of riding straight through it, we drove about an hour behind the storm front to find a window to get my miles in.

Adapt and keep moving.

We found a loop around Barr Lake State Park – about 9 miles.

10 laps later… miles DONE 😎

And along the way, an unexpected moment. I got to witness 5,000 rainbow trout being stocked into the pond. A pretty incredible reminder of life, renewal, and the impact of giving back.

Where there’s a will, there’s a way.

This ride isn’t about perfect conditions.
It’s about showing up no matter what.
