Left town this morning from the fairgrounds where we camped. Grilled some steaks last night to finish off another great day. There was a remote controlled model car competition going on – definitely not something you expect to stumble into.
Ended up talking with a couple of spectators who started asking some really thoughtful questions. Turns out he’s the CEO of Graham County Hospital and she’s a social worker.
What stuck with me most—they said they never realized how much they didn’t know about organ donation.
It’s a reminder that these conversations matter. You never know who you’re going to meet or how a simple conversation can create awareness and change perspectives.
