Day 1. TOT 5.0 Launch!

Had a great send off this morning at Aspirus Plover Hospital.

In attendance:

  • Sara, an Angle Mom who lost her son 10 years ago at age 17 in a motorcycle accident. She told his story of the many lives he saved and affected.
  • Carol, who donated a kidney using the National Kidney Registry Voucher Program so Dave could get a kidney. Carol is also a mentor with the National Kidney Donation Organization.
  • Plover Village President Gary Wolf.
  • Rep. Katrina Shankland
  • Senator Patrick Testin
  • Stevens Point Mayor Mike Wiza
    Jessie Bostic from the Hostel Shoppe was there with Chris and MaKayla and many friends including

    Bob Smith, Aspirus SP and Plover Hospitals President.
    Many staff from the Aspirus team came out, as well.
    Friend Jeff Lange from the Pittsburgh area joined in riding and will do the whole route with me.
