A beautiful quiet day riding the back country gravel roads from Thorp, Wisconsin to Marshfield,Wi.
Shared the roads with a number of Mennonites riding their bikes and their horse drawn buggies.
Riding the speed of life we were greeted and escorted by many a farm dog, spied a wide variety of Mennonite work horses, lazy day dairy cows, and buzzed by the many marshland red-winged blackbirds shooing us from their nesting grounds.
I have to give one more shoutout to Adam Smit and his gracious wife Brianna for hosting our crew at their beautiful home yesterday.
Their 13 year old son John easily covered over 60 miles with us yesterday from Menomonie, Wisconsin to Stanley, Wisconsin.
Ended up in Marshfield, Wisconsin today where we met cousin Sherrie Hoogland.
